When i was teaching at the voices.com conference in San Francisco, I was surprised that a lot of students were very concerned about getting their auditions stolen.
This is a common fear among newer talent because p2p sites often have jobs that end up not being worked or maybe they get well reviewed and then nothing. It's a tough racket and unfortunately you have to take those things with a grain of salt.
If you really want to make sure your voice over auditions are unusable for the client, there are a few key strategies that will help.
The first strategy is watermarking which is a little complicated but a quick youtube search will get you a few great tutorials on Adobe Audition.
For some really great easier ways to safeguard your auditions, check out this article I wrote a few months ago.
